It is impossible to contact the consulate, they do not answer e-mails or calls. They play an infernal waiting music and, after waiting 5 minutes, they hang up. It is really unfortunate. The only thing that I have achieved after calling several extensions insistently for weeks is that they tell me that their partner is on vacation and cannot help me, that they better buy a ticket to Istanbul and visit the consulate, to see if there is luck. Shame.

They treat foreigners very badly, I accompanied an interpreter to a couple of foreigners who had arranged an appointment at the Spanish consulate in Istanbul, to apply for a visa, the treatment we received both they and I do not know how to qualify, regrettable, shameful and unacceptable. They treated us in a discriminatory and racist manner, at all times they were aggressive and rude. They told us that instead of going to the consulate, we should process the visa application at a BLS International private company, and they did not want to help us until I gave them a few lessons about the functions of the Consulate, they have the obligation to process and collect the visa applications among many other procedures, that is the work of the consular section. My opinion is very negative and regrettable about this consulate that leaves an image that does not deserve any Spanish diplomatic representation. I hope it is taken into account.

They mistreat people very much, they don't even let us in to ask what we could do. We have lost ID. You tell us to make an appointment and they don't answer by email or phone.
