The most important features of Fatih Corso Park: It is a vast expanse of green lands on the edge of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror Bridge, and gives a distinct view of the Bosphorus and the European side of the city, and it is called in the Turkish also the gardens of “Otatepe”. A ten thousand meters long walking and jogging corridor is extended in the garden surrounded by green spaces on each side planted with the most beautiful types of roses. It has been inaugurated since the year 199, when the endowment planted in it one thousand seven hundred trees, five thousand shrubs and thousands of plants. The park includes at its entrance a statue of one of the Turkish charitable figures (Wehbe Koc), who was the director of the endowment who worked to reopen and inaugurate the park, and the park features a view of the Rumeli Hisar Castle, Ortakoy area, and many palaces located on the European side.
