Our school is in our country under the name of "Istanbul Fisheries and Aquaculture Art Institute". Marine, shipping, aquaculture and food technology fields, has been established with the aim of training personnel who are active in the evaluation of the company. The meetings held in 1967-1969 with the cooperation of Turkish-Japanese Governments at the end, its construction is decided. Construction with the support of the Japanese charity JICA (Jika) 1969 begins in the year. From that date until 1979, Japanese experts have come to Turkey. Tokyo University Fisheries Department brings many materials and equipment to our school. Our school first admitted students to the Hunting, Electronics and Electrical Departments and Education and training started in October 1973. In 1974, Department of Fisheries In 1975, the Department of Processing Food Technology was opened. The Fishing Section is then followed by the shipping and maritime division which is about to be awarded in the section. In order to indicate the training and to ensure that the Seaman Authorization Certificate is obtained, It is named after hunting. Later, the name of Hunting was removed and the name of "Deck Section" used. Although our school was asked to be affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture in the first years it was opened, it has been abandoned. Connecting to the Ministry of National Education and opening new departments has been prepared. Our school covers an area of ​​42,276 square meters, of which 4,730 square meters are located on the beach. has been settled. Experience in Maritime and Aquaculture technology and education technical cooperation agreement between our government and the Japanese government to benefit has been made. Within the framework of this agreement, Japanese experts came to our country until 1979. helped our school to prepare for its establishment.
