Best bar in Taiwan. Innovative cocktails, free space to create art, incredible atmosphere, experienced bartenders. You really couldn't ask for more from a bar. Ideal for those looking for a space to create and have a real conversation over amazing drinks.

Arts & Crafts owners welcome me with OPEN arms & intellectual convo. I went to a comedy show at Arts & Crafts, and am anticipating their next event. Everyone in Taichung, SUPPORT this establishment, that has been a beacon in the community, for over a decade!

It was quiet last night when we went but still the cocktails were awesome and the music was great. We did the painting deal and it was a lot of fun. However, after reviewing my artistic efforts this morning, I'd recommend not drinking all your wine before you've finished your painting. Would love to go back again when there's a crowd.

The owners (Carl and Patrick) are fantastic and friendly. It's a great place to meet people and hang out. They regularly host events (paint and sip, game nights, etc.) and have great all-you-can-drink deals. The cocktails are off the charts and Patrick will make you anything you like. They also have a good selection of beers (I'm an IPA fan myself). Carl hosts a podcast and both guys are doing cool things outside the bar. The guys have also been in Taiwan for a long time so they are super knowledgeable and can give you advice and introduce you to people. And Patrick's hair alone is worth a visit to the bar.
