Despite offering a relaxing hike to the top with breathtaking views of the scenic landscape enveloping the trail, there simply isn’t much to do; too few paths exist to offer an exhilarating climb, with all journeys seeming to culminate at the arrival of the elevated temple which gracefully sits atop the mountain.

Surprisingly, many hiked on this Friday morning, and the trail was easy and safe to hike in the light rain.

It's super convenient for hiking nearest to the Taipei downtown. The route is not too hard or long for everyone to enjoy. Most walk ways are coverd by shadows of trees is a plus.

The start of the trail is easy to access, but there are only a few alternative trails down if you don't want to go all the way to the end. Few of the exit points are near public transportation, and the trail is very long, so you should plan your route and you're way back carefully. It is good for a quick walk you and down from the Jingmei area.
