Completed on 9 May 1962, the Church features a lot of large-scale mosaic work by Francisco Borboa (鮑博). The notable images are the 14 Stations of the Cross, the large image behind the altar, and the image of St. Augustine on the facade of the building. A very special place to visit, as the Church is not open all the time. I would recommend calling prior to visiting.

After reopening in 2012, the branch of the Minquan Cathedral of Chiayi Diocese was renovated to be a beautiful temple.
