This botanical garden is the oasis of the city and it seems the connection between Alishan and downtown Chia-yi city as a used-to-be forest research centre. The sounds of cicada relieved the stress and tall trees covering sunshine in hot summer could also release exhausted tiredness.

First of all, in the Chiayi Botanical Garden, you will find an unexpected level of quietness for a place located in a big city, which is great if you want to get your mind away from busy life for a while.
