South Gate Presbyterian Church

This church is where I go to worship every Sunday morning. The church is new and has been in existence for more than a decade. There are two priests, the chief pastor retired in July this year, and another educational pastor has been in the six or seven years. I am very concerned about the community's elders. I have specially opened a happy and long-term class and a demented care station to recruit elders with mild dementia. Welcome to the community to be interested in the elders to participate.

On Easter 1953, with the support and assistance of the Mother Church ’s Mengjia Church, due to the enthusiasm of evangelism, the elders of the church, the faithful maid Wang Yi, provided a residence as a meeting place. The South Gate Church was established in Yan. Ms. Wang Zhenwan preached the mission, and she was meeting on the tatami at the time. There were about two or thirty people. Everyone was eager to worship and serve together. The first pastor was Pastor Hu Maosheng. He arrived in 1957 and retired in 1995. He has contributed to the Nanmen Church for a total of 38 years. His teaching progressed every day. During the four expansions of the church, it has been up to 2005. The beautiful palace and hundreds of believers. Among them, there are still pioneering or assisting in the establishment of sub-accountants including Nanguang Church, Central Church, Shuanghe Church, Zhonghe Church and International Japanese Church. They manage kindergartens for the benefit of children in the community. They value internal fellowship and the belief of students of all ages. Strongly support the gospel ministry of the General Assembly and the Central Committee and the needs of the vulnerable in society. In recent years, the Ministry of the Elderly (Songnian University, Evergreen Living Station) has been established to provide Chinese services and support the missionary ministry of the Pinglin Church.
