Don't actually know what is all the fuss about this Japanese discount store.nnyes most of the items there are imported and yes some of the items can only be bought here, but the price are not that discounted.nnLoved their interior decorations and design, that's about it.

Very very very crowded. On a Saturday afternoon, it took me 30 minutes to line up to get in. It's better to visit on workdays. ud83dude22

I've been to Donki in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. With the amount of cheap rental properties in Taiwan, I'm surprised they didn't find a bigger lot for their store. We went on a weekday morning, and it was just too crowded to enjoy shopping there. I would say the shop is about half the size of those in HK and SIngapore ( where property prices are sky high). Hope their next shop in Taiwan is bigger.

I'm a little disappointed by this store. I was very excited about it coming to Taiwan. I have been to other branches in Singapore and Japan, and this was less enjoyable.nnThe fresh food is great value, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. There is not as much fresh food as in Singapore, but the main favorites are all here. I would like to see the unagi onigiri and salmon futomaki that is sold in Singapore, these are my favorites!nnThe store is very crowded, and it is hard to find anything in particular, because the flow of the crowd makes it hard to turn around.nnThe store does not carry Japanese KitKats, which are my favorite things to buy at Don Don Donki in other countries. The Singapore branches have several shelves dedicated to this.nnI would also like to see Asahi-Wilkinson ginger ale (Singapore stores also have this).nnI'm quite disappointed since most of my favorite items are not available. I will go back in 6 months, I hope the situation will have improved.
