Kindness Hotel

Kindness hotels in Kaohsiung have been setting the standard for economy hotels for many years already, based on friends’ experiences. I needed a place for two nights and chose Xiong Zhong. It’s an excellent choice. I’d strongly recommend it for non-Chinese speakers, as the staff will do their best to help and their English level is good. The level of service is very high - it appears the staff are well-trained. The availability of coffee and snacks is a nice touch. No frills. No giant chandeliers in the lobby. Just everything you need.nnGood brand. Recommended

Found this place years ago, but now there are other locations closer to the Kaoshiung train station when this was their closest location back then.nnThe room is nice, clean, but with no sound insulation, we hear people next door partying at midnight, and someone with shoes walking around disturbing us at midnight.nnBreakfast is included 0700-1000 with breakfast voucher, dinner 1800-2230 supposedly but was already taken down around 2215.nnLaundromat and detergent is provided to the two washers and two dryers on the first floor.nnIce cream is available 24 hours, bicycle loan complimentary, DVD player, nail clipper provided upon request at the front desk.

A little inconvenient compare to other same branch hotels. Facilities are also a little old and outdated. Staff and service were great though

Clean, convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of variety. Supper available until 10.30 PM... I was happy with the hotel.

we booked Kindness Hotel because it was near the MRT station. But we are impressed with the service level and politeness of the staffs.nnBreakfast was fantastic and complimentary supper was sumptuously good. The plus point was laundry service were organized and efficient.nnThe room were equally clean and spacious. There is no other fault that I can find but only compliments for the fantastic service provided.
