Duck Zhen

I can’t think of a better way to start the day than with a bowl of Duck Zhen’s lavish braised duck rice. The meat was tender and had the perfect amount of fat, keeping it juicy, the braised beef melted together with the rice for a luxurious bite each time.nnWe also ordered their soup that comes with duck gizzard, intestines, and liver ud83eudd24The meal woke us up and inspired a whole day of food-seeking.

Local food with reasonable price.nSoup taste very fresh and light, duck meat is juicy, like it.nI saw a lot of people highly recommend pork braised rice, will give it a try for my next visit.

Super long queue. Its good but hmmm.. Not out of this world? Guess it's just the fact that it's duck mixed with the usual braised pork rice. It's also weird because you have to find a table and then queue for the food, which is find if you're not alone. But what happens if you're here alone?

Decent price with totally amazing food, what can you ask for more? Their duck rice is absolutely stunning, simple ingredients + efforts made this outstanding dish. If you are a big fan of duck, do have a try!

Lined up for around 10 minutes or so on a Sunday evening around 17:00. Flavorful w/ soft melt in your mouth duck and hearty rice. A perfect bowl.
