Arkansas Diner

If you want to eat a burger in Kaohsiung this is the place I would recommend. If you're craving for anything American actually. Super friendly staff, the chef is very welcoming and comes to greet his guests and asks them how the meal is going. We've tried the baconator and one of the Arkansas bowl and we are definitely coming back for a second round soon.

Great southern food in the Heart of Asia. Reasonably priced. The service is good and the atmosphere feels like a country diner in the South Eastern USA. The owners are friendly and will talk for a bit if it is not too busy. The staff is eager to please.

Holy moly is this good. Don't miss this one.nReal legitimate Southern food with a hillbilly twist. The wings have a special in house sauce, tangy and sharp. Biscuits are fresh, and the burgers are great

Sadly not quite up to expectations based on the reviews here. Biscuits were under cooked and tasted of baking soda, the top half was at least ok, but the bottom half was stodgy. Way too much black pepper in the sauce to my taste. Meat for country fried steak was quite tough and too thick cut to be suitable for deep frying. Friendly service.

As someone who grew up in the West, I feel lucky that an establishment like Arkansas Diner exists in Taiwan. From the decor and music to the food (which is delicious and authentic), I felt like I was back in the states having dinner with my family. A much needed experience considering many of us can't go back for the holidays this year.nnThank you Landis and co. I eagerly await my next trip south so I can visit again.
