Was only meant to stay for 2 nights but ended up extending for an extra 2 nights. Clean, quiet rooms, and the common area was always tidy. Staff were extremely helpful. Perfect location, with the MRT a minute walk away from the hostel. Also found a lovely restaurant a couple of shops away, that served great tofu pudding!

Great hostel! Very professional and kind staff. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and good looking. Good location, it's pretty close to night market :) it's safe, everybody get own locker with code. There is no mixed dormitories, which I consider as a plus ud83dudc4dud83cudffb I really enjoyed my stay there.

The noise is unbearable for single room, avoid the room next to the road

Ahiruyah is a really nice hostel in a really good location.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful.nnThe hostel is quite small, but has some really nice and useful amenities. Despite the size of the hostel, the bathrooms are quite large. Note that the bathrooms aren't private. Instead there's two communal bathrooms, one for women and the other for men. There's also a TV area, balcony and washing machine.nnI stayed in the shared male dorm. Each bunk had a lamp, power socket and a privacy curtain. There were lockers (though quite small) and air conditioning in the room. Despite the mattress being rock hard, I had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hostel across the two nights I was there.nnAnother great feature of the hostel is it's location. It's a few minutes walk from Formosa Boulevard station. It's also one block away from Liuhe Nigh Market.nnI'd recommend Ahiruyah if you're in need of a hostel in Kaohsiung.
