Lanyu Airport (KYD)

Very kind staff. They were able to call another plane because the former had technical problems. Pilots flew it excellently. Arrived late but then rushed me to train station right on time. After all, the planes would need an update to be able to fly in less favorable conditions.

You can really close to the airport to see the plane landing and departure.nIf you do not want to take the boat to the island, another way is the plane.nThe flight is really weather sensitive, make sure to prepare the backup plan of your trip with taking plane.

A cute tiny airport which serves as the only aerial link to the main island. Not much to see inside. But it’s super easy to check in and board the plane. The only downside is that this airport is very prone to closure due to weather condition. Be prepared to have back up plan on travel.
