Flying Tiger Bar

This place by far is the greatest discovery on my trip around Taiwan. A chill place to have good drinks, food and conversations. The food, drinks and service were excellent. It's a bar because the food menu is small, but every item on the menu was top-notch. We had the Carnitas and beef empanadas. Can't say enough good stuff about them. Perfectly made with lots of care. The cocktails were complex and all very delicious. The owners were super friendly and they were as passionate about food as we were.

What a great place. Allison and Drew created this lean-back and relaxed atmosphere combined with delicious food. As a starter we ordered the egg, pickle, jalapeño and pretzel mix - nothing I had ever before but really good. For the mains we had the empanadas which were just perfect as well as the carnitas. The meat was super tender and the seasoning spot on - bear in mind that they use local ingredients. Drew was a bartender in the US and therefore we gave it a try. And yes, most likely the best whiskey sour I ever had (and I had many) - so creamy and fresh! This is a must try if you go!nVery cozy place with great owners with whom you can have a nice conversation for a perfect and memorable evening. Thanks!!
