Chateau Beach Resort

With the big sand beach just in front (recommend 1st floor ocean view), some heated pools and decent breakfast selection, this resort checked all the marks. Yes, it is aged, yes, they don’t let you swim in the ocean without life vest, and yes, not every employee speaks English. But we and the kids liked it and plan to come back.

Good location/view but the front desk service is terrible. Firstly, when checking in, minimal info was given about the hotel facilities and restaurants. Thankfully the bellhop was super helpful and offered the info. However, what really got to me is getting a phone call at 9pm asking to move my car so someone else could use the Tesla charger. If you expect me to move my car when another car needs the spot, you should have told me when I parked, and given me the option of leaving the keys with you. Disturbing someone at night (for non-emergency) is not ok! I know 9pm generally isn’t considered super late, but when you’ve got 2 young kids, it is.nnOn a more objective note. The hotel is really big. Be prepared for a lot of walking. The beach is great! (The only real selling point to be honest). The food is pretty average. I’d recommend eating out instead of getting the package that includes dinner.

Beautiful resort right on the beach. After staying there I would choose a 1st floor room to be able to sit and enjoy the ocean just outside the room. The rooms were nice and there are several pools available. It was a little cool when I went but it was also nice that there was a heated pool. The buffet was also good with a lot of variety.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was well worth it! The room is on the 5th floor and faces the ocean. Was so nice to hear the sound of the waves each day.nnThe hot tub in the bathroom also had a direct ocean view! Perfect way to spend a romantic time with your partner.nnTheir service was very good. Anytime you called housekeeping they were usually to the room with the requested item in just a couple minutes.

Stay two night with my family here. The room is clean, the food is fine, and the beach is amazing! All kids love it. Will come again soon.
