Historical point

Because Chiang Kai-shek was on vacation at the Caoshan Hotel, in order to protect the head of state, a gun station of the Air Force 40 battery was set up in Yangmingshan. After the decommissioning, it was retained as a memorial park display. There are also a rhododendron tea garden and a viewing pavilion nearby, and historical relics are presented. It's worth seeing.

Located in Yangmingshan, the 40th Artillery Position Memorial Park of the Air Force was originally an abandoned artillery position of the Air Force for a long time. In the early years, the National Army deployed anti-artillery troops here to protect the central security. Since the 210-1 Air Force Anti-Cannon Company evacuated in 1983, all the camps have been razed. With the change of times, many troops have already withdrawn from Yangmingshan, and the past camps have become smoky and unmanaged. However, near the second parking lot of Yangmingshan, there is still a military relic park-the Air Force 40 Artillery Position Memorial Park, which preserves the scene of the air defense artillery troops stationed in the past.

I've never been here many times in Yangmingshan, so I am really surprised!
