Beautiful scenery from north to south (mountain ranges of Taiwan). The highest peak of Taiwan is cold and dry, which makes feel right at home, as someone coming from North America. The sunrise is spectacular as you arrived covered in heavy fog and seeing them slowly lifted before your eyes. Slight patch of slippery ice at the Cage; otherwise, the trail is mostly snow free.
