Quiet, clean, spacious. Perfect. And way better than any park in Taipei
One of the most beautiful parks I've been to. Perfect for picnics, feeding fish, renting bicycles or going for a walk. It takes about 30mins to walk around.
Ever since my wife adopted a dog, this park has been our go-to stopover when we visit Yilan or Hualian. Our dog loves running around in this park, because it is spacious and the management does a great job of taking care of the greens. There are certain parts where you will find a pack of stray dogs, but for the most part, this park is a safe place for dogs to play and let go of their bodily waste. Parking is slightly expensive here, but if you need to let your dog run around, there isn't much better choice nearby.
Rocks to climb, puddles to jump over, bicycle path and abundant trees and grassland, beautiful park really.
One of the largest sports parks in Taiwan with great scenery and ample facilities for exercise. There are very few spots with roofs though, so it's not recommended on a rainy day.
