Tomb of General Hu Zongnan

The tomb of General Hu Zongnan is located beside Zhongxing Road in the Yangming Book House of Yangmingshan. General Hu was the first-class general of the Chinese army (chasing Jin in 1962). He served as the chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the strategic advisor of the presidential palace. He was one of the confidants of Mr. Jiang Zhongzheng. The general was the first student of the Whampoa Military Academy. The older (28 years old), the most stable and mature, was highly valued by the Chairman Jiang. The generals participated in the large-scale battles such as the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the Civil War between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. It was also the only one who became a general of Samsung before the relocation of the government. Zhou Enlai once commented: "Hu Zongnan is the most talented commander under Chiang Kai-shek." The general retired in 1959 (48 years of the Republic of China) and was buried at the present site in 1962 (51 years of the Republic of China). The general's widow, Ms. Ye, was in 1981. Years (70 years of the Republic of China) attached to the funeral. There is a car shelter in front of the tomb for parking. The hillside of the tomb has a hot spring eye. The water temperature is about 40~42 degrees. There is also a hot spring bath (pre-2012).
