MRT Feng-le Park Station

The first MRT is finally open to the public, even though it all shut down after the beta test in few days. The whole experience is pretty consistent with Taipei's MRT, most of the visual design, interior design, ticket machine, restroom, it works as what I expected, even for the broadcast sounds are exactly the same as Taipei's. There are some pros and cons of the elevated rail design. Of course, it is much louder and messier for the whole city, but the most unbearable thing to me is the sweaty and hot weather in Taiwan. Without the AC, it would be a nightmare during the rush hour in summer time I can imagine, though this is also much cheaper for both building and maintenance and I guess it's much eco friendly, too. Another good thing worth noting is you can have quite beautiful view while in the car, especially if you can take the first car. That's exactly what I did this time, and it's very interesting and different to see the city this way at night. So sad the MRT is not available for some safety reason but I'm still looking forward to re open next time and hopefully there will be more other line ready to build.

It is the newly built MRT, no matter if compared with Taipei or Kaohsiung, it is nothing special!
