Yiyuan Resort in Hualien

We drove there with family directly from Taipei (took me around 4 hours, but I got use to driving my VIP-guests on one-day tours in Taiwan so it's fine for me). It's very calm and natural area with many local cultural elements, gigantic fish pond (all following stick feng-shui rules) after dinner we took part in indigenous people show and made local style "mochi" with sesame. Kids were amazed. There's also an aqua park there. It's not at all new place but there's something authentic about it all that we love. We enjoyed local dinner and breakfast.

In the end, I didn't want to go to crowded places, and I didn't want to be congested to see attractions. I want to find a place where I can stay and put children. So choose to stay. The resort occupies a large area and has many facilities, so you can easily spend one to two days. The resort also provides a lot of activities, you can also pass the time or actually experience it. There are also free/paid station connections. Cabin accommodation: The facilities in the room are indeed old, but at such a price, I think it is feasible. A plug-in mosquito repellent is provided in the room. But it will not start to work until the residents go in and plug in. Of course there are already small black mosquitoes in the room. diet: Both breakfast and dinner were pretty good, and the supplements were changed quickly. Wontons are packaged for breakfast, which is so distinctive. remind: Please be sure to bring your own black mosquito repellent. Frequent spray all the time. Otherwise, it will become a moving target and get a full package to go home. Of course, you have to bring your own soothing products after being bitten by the black mosquito. Otherwise it will be itchy and unable to sleep. It would be great if the hotel could place mosquito repellents all over the park like a resort in Tainan.
