Nice easy trail... Check the monkeys on the trees while going through
Beautiful yet easy hiking spot!
Just a very very short trail without much to see along the way.
The Saguer Trail is the closest and easiest trail 10 minutes away from Hualien City by car. It is easy to avoid surprises. The left side of the mountain park parking lot is the entrance of the Sakura Trail, which takes 3-4 hours to go back and forth; and the right side is the entrance of the Saguer Trail. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the waterfall.nThe stream is clear and cool, and a small waterfall is right in front of you. There may be wild monkeys nearby. Of course, it’s best not to feed them fun. The Saguer Trail is a more primitive dirt road combined with part of the wooden plank road. The main sights are the original forest and the Saguer Waterfall. You can see the downtown area of Hualien from the highest point. The complete route can take a circle of O-shaped about 1.3 kilometers. The altitude climbs about 100 meters. If you just want to walk easily or watch the waterfall, you can go back and forth from the right. If you go to the left, there will be a steep climb first, but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hualien from the highest viewing platform, and there is enough time to connect with the nearby Sakura Trail go.nnThere are many parking spaces at the entrance of the trail, and there are also public toilets next to it. The trail is walked in the forest throughout. You don’t have to worry about the sun, but you still need to pay attention to the small black mosquitoes in Huadong.
