Agongdian Reservoir

Kaohsiung Agongdian Reservoir is located in Yanchao District, adjacent to Tianliao District and Dagangshan Scenic Area. It is surrounded by bad terrain and geology, but it is still rich in fruits such as dates, guava, lychee, red dragon fruit, mango, and longan. It is hard to imagine that many fruits can be grown in this bad land. The Agongdian Reservoir is the function of a detention pond, so there is not much storage in the reservoir and it is needed for irrigation. It is also the location of the Seventh River Bureau. It also has the longest dam in Taiwan. It is about 3 to 4 meters in length. Zhongzhu has two suspension bridges and a bicycle path around the reservoir, which will attract many cyclists during holidays. There are many temples in the area. There is also a karaoke for practicing songs. There are no food and beverage facilities. It is suitable for leisure activities such as relaxing on holidays.
