GUMGUM Beer & Wings 雞翅酒吧

Cozy place and suitable for hanging out with friends at night. Spacious environment and modern decoration. Maple sugar flavor chicken wings were nice but I prefer truffle fries more! Beer was normal.

My friend and I took another friend here for her birthday. We had a wonderful experience!! The food was yummy, service was good and loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Its located on the corner off the main street, Xinyi Road. Decked out with fairy lights, it's hard to miss this cute restaurant. Tip #1 book way in advance as we booked a day in advanced and still had to sit at the bar. Plus: go on your birthday because they offer a nice vanilla ice cream. I got the salmon pasta which was rich and creamy. My friend ordered the truffle risotto and of course wings to share for everyone. As we sat at the bar, we watched the bartender do his magic. We ordered an elderflower cocktail which was divine. It was definitely pricey. I spent around 1500 nt as my friend and I split the birthday girls meal. Overall, great experience. Would come back!

Food and atmosphere were good. Plus, we had a great experience with service and friendly staff.

Very cosy and warm. The steak was as surprisingly good as the chicken wings were surprisingly average. The tiramisu was very tasty! Overall I would recommend this place if you were in the mood for catching up with friends over drinks and a quick bite to eat.

GUMGUM started out promising and the Thai chili wings were good, but then we got the combo fried platter and it was just ok. The cuttlefish was too salty, the wings were on the dry side, the truffle fries were meh, but the onion rings were great.
