啜飲室台中 (Taihu TapRoom Taichung)

Good beer with a rotating variety of drinks, but the atmosphere and food set it apart.nnYou can try the beer before you order it, which is really cool and a great way to try something new. Their beers rotate fairly regularly as many are seasonal. My favorites were the kumquat (seasonal), Long Island Iced Beer (I believe this is is a permanent staple), and the strawberry cider (I know, not a beer)nnThe rooftop is awesome, a great place to have a drink especially when (as it usually is) the interior downstairs is full. There are lots of tables, it's quiet, and before COVID they had a massive jenga set up there. Also the kitchen is up there and you can orderly food directly instead of venturing back downstairs.nnSpeaking food, they have the best burger of all the places I've tried in Taichung (all the expat recommended and top rated burger places). Hell, it ranks as one of the better burgers I've had in my entire life, and I'm from the US!

Clean, classy, modern. Beautiful exposed brick and wooden floors with warm lighting create a lovely place to hangout. Menu items include the regulars as well as a veggie burger. Excellent service. REALLY good beer, too

Taihu brewery with a unique design. Love the place. Friendly staff. A little bit pricier compared to other beer house. But worth going. They have food too
