The biggest night market of Tainan. The market is available once or twice a week. All varieties of Taiwanese food can be found here.

A MUST for any travelers to Tainan. There may be subtle differences in dishes and flavors (more sweet flavors in Tainan) but the prices and options are very good. Some of the best street food I've had is here! It can be very crowded and pushy during busy times. There are decent stalls for shopping with good prices as well for foods like sunglasses, bags, hats, and other stuff

The night market was big and crowded. You could find a lot of traditional Taiwanese food there. It is not available every day .

I live next to it but I haven't been shopping recently because there are too many people! Except that it is not crowded on Thursday. If you want to buy food, you should really do it earlier, preferably before 6 o'clock. My family's favorite is Asange's oyster frying. The owner of the holiday will personally fry on the spot, watching his skillful dancing spatula, and the carrot cake is also delicious!
