My father suffered a bout of pneumonia at his nursing home and was ferried to several hospitals. But his fever never went away until they finally sent him to Lian-An Hospital where Dr Wu spent copious hours checking all the test results and sitting with my father. He diagnosed my father with asthma and started a treatment to clear the respiratory track. Eventually, my father's fever retreated and he as able to gradually recover. Throughout the ordeal, the staff at Lian-An worked diligently to save a life. They deserve my highest respect. Unfortunately, the high fevers caused permanent damages to my father due to his age but we are thankful that he is even alive today.

The doctor who helped me was very silent. After taking a look at the X-ray, he asked what was wrong, and then he palpated the neck, underarms, and abdomen without telling me. I was shocked by notifying me anyway. Frankly speaking, the most inattentive one is probably the doctor. It’s fine if I didn’t say anything.
