Taitung Chinese Association

A two-story baroque building built in 1927. The area is 150 ping. The building materials are reinforced concrete reinforced bricks. On the first floor, the rain covers the rectangular section of the Taitung Branch, and the square windows are opened on both sides. On the threshold, there is a rectangular plaque of "Taiwan Province Taiwan Province Guangfu Movement Gay Association". The left side of the door is embedded with the 1984 "Taiwan Province Guangfu Movement Comrades Association Taitung China Hall". On the second floor, there are four arc-shaped arch windows, all of which have arched stones. The rounded hills are decorated with Chinese Nationalist Party emblems and rice ears. In June 1926, Taitung and Hualien Overseas Chinese joined the Hualien Port Chinese Association, with branches such as Taitung and Yuli. In 1927, 14 people from Taitung Overseas Chinese, Liu Yang and Zheng Pincong, proposed the establishment of the Taitung China Club, which was completed by local Chinese and paid for by the leaders of the Taipei Taiwan Chinese Association. At the beginning of the establishment of the Taitung China Club, there were 115 members, and the meeting place was located in Baodong, Taitung Street. The museum has a fellowship, providing accommodation and accommodation for those who are unable to make a living, as well as the treatment and introduction of the sick and unemployed. The name of the museum is an overseas Chinese gathering place. It is actually a contact center for anti-Japanese. It is also friendly to Japan and is also covered with the Japanese flag.
