A star for the friendly daytime staff. The hotel is worn-out and out of trend, far from being urban, seriously needs renovation. The paperthin walls need proper sound insulation upgrade, especially when you have guests from upstairs stomping the floor at 5am in the morning, perhaps some regulations need to be in place. Like others have mentioned, the beds are rock hard with springs going up against your back. The room was also filled with an unpleasant odour upon entering. There is underground parking available on a first come, first served basis, but a challenging one with very little room to maneuver. Would not recommend inexperienced drivers to attempt parking in, especially when the lots are close to full capacity. Yes, the prices are attractive, but with an additional small amount, there are many other better options available in Kaohsiung.

This hotel needs a lot of improvements. Especially the mattresses, they are terribly hard, it's like sleeping on the floor. The room is outdated but clean, however, it doesn't have a safety box. If you want to attract more international travellers rather than Chinese, you need to replace all the mattresses, sheets and comforters. I give it 2 stars because the reception staff was friendly and professional. Otherwise, 1 star only.
