Kavalan Whisky Bar

My favorite bar in Taipei, maybe Taiwan. It's way more than a nice bar. Although they are a bar starting with KAVALAN whisky, with all kinds of cocktails to show you the possibility of their whisky. But if you look at their menu, this is a bar show you the culture of Taiwan. All kind of elements of Taiwan, food, flower, drinks, taste, and even festival. This is THE BEST bar to show your foreign friends. And a bar you can visit every week and fulfill your holiday with seasonally special. Simply love it. Highly recommended.

Really nice bar on the second floor of a building, same as a restaurant. The entrance is somewhat hidden as the walls slide open. I think it's best if you make a reservation but I walked in and it worked out fine.nnEveryone is super friendly. James the bartender knows what he's doing, speaks English and can whip up a drink to your preferences. I tried the smoky martini and it was well done. Next, I had a smoky kavalan neat but after a few sips went rocks.nnThe atmosphere is classy but not pretentious. Really enjoyed myself there on NYE.

Adan is super nice and very professional! 超專業哦uff01cocktails are interesting and demonstrating the characters of Kavalan selections! Warmth is worth trying! Their single cask pouring from barrels just makes you feel in their distillery. Very chilled ambience and all staff are very good hospitality! Will come again next time!
