New Riverview Suites Taipei

Wonderful stay! Good location near Ximending area. Double room was spacious, modern and super clean. Comfy bed, good amenities, and luxurious bathtub. Courteous reception and housekeeping staff.

Room was great.. but the whole stay was destroyed by rude counter staffs who behaved extremely unprofessionally. Counter Staff Kelvin Yang was absolutely unprofessional at his work and did not communicate himself clearly even in his own mandarin language. I was most taken aback by his attitude in blaming the customers for his own inaptitude.

Our room (New wing)n3 single beds was surprisingly modern and spacious with room for 3 large suitcases. Our room was super clean and well maintained. Check in is extremely fast by professional staff. You can walk through the back streets to reach Ximending appx ten minutes. 7/11 is just around the corner.nThank you for a wonderful stay.nDenise (New Zealand)

Reception is rude, they are there just to fill up the post. We stayed in new wing room, not too bad, nothing to shout about.

What else can a hotel guest ask for?nnYou know some hotels that purposely NOT provide the shaver our toothbrush so you'll have to call for room service? This is NOT one of them.nnIf you can walk a bit like me, it's 15mins' walk from Taipei main station or 10 mins from Ximen station.nnI am VERY impressed with the stuff they provide in the room for about S$150/night These are the things I found:nn1. TVn2. Study tablen3. Side table (for luggage)n4. Mini fridgen5. Safen6. Ironing board & ironn7. Bedroom slippersn8. Bath tubn9. Shampoo, conditioner, body foamn10. Soapn11. TOOTHBRUSH setn12. Notepadn13. Shower cap, comb & cotton budn14. HAIRDRYERn15. SHAVERn16. FOUR bottles of watern17. Coffee and tea sachetsn18. Kettlen19. Hangersn20. UMBRELLA!!! I think it's my first time seeing thisn21. Heated toilet seatn22. Built-in multi plug sockets (many)n23. Decent plastic comb (not the QB house one)nnNot that I need all of them, I only need toothbrush, shaver and the shower stuff.nnJust that I think a lot of thoughts went in to include all these items.nnOk my only complain is that I got the highway view and not river view as its name suggests.
