This is yet another place where I rate 3.5 stars. Unfortunately the front desk staff were quite disgruntled so there's nothing to elevate the rating to 4 stars.nnI went to this place at around 11:30am on a Wed in Jan 2021. Upon seeing a line of 40+ persons at the time of my arrival, I thought about giving up but decided to stick with it. It turned out the line moved pretty swiftly and I was able to walk away with my to-go order in about twenty minutes.nnMy wife wanted a rice wrap but all wraps had been sold out. The staff told me I would have to be there before 10:30am in order to get one.nnI ordered a salty soybean soup, a few baked goods, and a fried donut. All were above average as compared to their counterparts offered by other such eateries in Taipei. The best part is that none of the food felt greasy which is quite commendable. On the other hand, there was nothing truly outstanding either.nnIn summary, this is not a bad place to have a traditional Chinese breakfast but I personally do not believe it is worth standing in line for twenty minutes or more in order to get some food.

Most famous breakfast shop for all tourist to Taipei. Do not be deterred by the long line that stretches down the stairs and on occasions around the building. The kitchen and service staff know what they are doing so the lines are generally fast moving. Just don't expect to eat in, as seating available is limited.

Didn't have to wait long today. Probably due to the lack of tourists.nBut nevertheless there was a queue and the staff was very impatient.nShe wanted to take our order as quickly as possible. Didn't get a chance to really order what we wanted. For a tourist destination it was a little disappointing. But the food was good but not outstanding.

I thought I will be in love with this store, but the truth is that I don’t like the line, I don’t like the McDonald style order experience and I find that 燒餅 skin has coated sugar which really throw me off. Soy bean is good but too sweet too.

Long queue but moves fast. It is def worth it. Everything tasted so good! Must try at least once in your life ud83dude02nI recommend the shaobing (I like the thin ones), soymilk and do not forget the caramel ones (焦糖甜餅) they are the best thing I’ve ever tasted.
