The most famous tea house in Jiufen and inspired Spirited Away. Definitely recommend getting the tea set - 300NT per person. The servers show you how to make tea in the traditional way. We're never able to finish the tea completely, but the view and the snacks themselves are good. Highly recommend for the experience! Make sure to get a terrace seat, so you can enjoy the view! The best place to take photos of the tea house itself though, is the patio across the alley--pretty much where everyone is lined up to take pictures.nnNote: Visited prior to COVID

I would highly recommend to take photos then leave. The place is a massive tourist trap. $300 (equiv $15 AUD) tiny cup and a few pieces of sweets ...so not worth it.nnStaff are so so. We noticed Japanese tourists got hand towels BUT nothing for the local Taiwanese people. Hmmm...nnTea was so so, nothing special. For the price try somewhere else. Take the photos then move to another place.nnIf you really want to go, ask for upstairs room with lanterns.nnJust for comparison local tea from a tea store is ten times cheaper but of course you pay for location.

The place is so romantic, very recommend go to here with your love. I think night is better because it has a great view.

View is great but food is mediocre... or less than mediocre. The signature Osmanthus Wine is pretty good though.

Picturesque building. View is nice. Tea drinking experience is nothing amazing, although After travelling all the way here, you might as well experience it.nnPrice is 300 yuan/person for the set meal. Snacks provided is very little. Staff are very professional and able to serve tourists of different languages
