Swarakchit Indian Cuisine

This restaurant had the TASTIEST, HEALTHIEST, and most AUTHENTIC Indian food that I have had in Taiwan (where I am living)! I would give 6 stars if I could, as in addition to having delicious food, the restaurant owner was very nice and had an interesting life story. This restaurant is VEGAN, and thus VEGETARIAN. Additionally, you can choose what spice level you want, and they even have a great homemade chili sauce if you like your food extra spicy. Whether you are Indian or not, this great restaurant will definitely have something for you!

This vegan Indian restaurant lives up to its name as a safe, healthy and delicious place to eat! I have been attending a workshop nearby, and have eaten here everyday over the last three days. As an Indian food lover, I wasn’t too sure how different the taste would be with vegan alternatives. But I’m happy to report that the taste is even BETTER, not to mention very fresh and non-greasy. The owner and staff are very personable and friendly, making the atmosphere quite comfortable and feeling like home. I highly recommend eating at Swarakchit!

The owner is an Indian. Well behaved and understand the food value. He engineered all the foods based on the true Indian recipes. Spices are fresh and it reflects on the food. He wants more people enjoy the Indian food and have great time at his restaurant. Must try and visit his restaurant if you are in Tainan. More importantly, his foods are not expensive, and you don’t need to think about being so expensive.

Nice small vegetarian place. The staff is really nice therefore the service is good. Nice variety of food at a good price. They even have business lunches that vary per day. I come every week...

Super flavorful, healthy, tasty food. Very nice service and the place is spotless. Highly recommend! By the way, the “2 servings of bread” is two baskets, not two pieces!
