承億輕旅 台南館 (Light Hostel)

We were very impressed by this hostel. It was almost like a mini hotel with a spacious room and bathroom. I had requested for an extra chair before check in, and they delivered (well done)! The bed was so comfortable and it was great to have all the amenities accessible, including washer, dryer, hot water, drinking water, tea bags and even snacks. The only part that we wished could be better, was if the service could be warmer and friendlier :)

The hostel is okay but there is no door to the bathrooms. You can literally hear everything. Can you imagine that in a room full of strangers?nThere’s a little curtain separating it.

Good location, you can go to many tourists spots within walking distance.nThere are buses nearby to An ping.nClean and tidy, and the price is reasonable.

Stayed here for three nights, it was really a great hostel. Convenient location (a taxi from tainan station costs NT$100~), nice service, kindly staff. Room was big and confortable. Some TV shows are available (HBO, Fox Movies etc.).nI recommend this place to stay in Tainan.

Without wanting to sound like a snob, I've only ever stayed a few hostels. I booked a private room here due to not being able to find a hotel room available for the nights I needed, but I was incredibly impressed. The room was minimalist and pretty basic, but still a modern and nice hotel room... Spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff here we also amazingly friendly and helpful. For the money it was a great place to stay and close to one of the main night retail and food hot spots.
