Very good amenities, room smells slightly of mold, but only to be expected as a facility with a hot spring. The hot spring at this establishment is excellent. Has both an outdoor springs, complete with a pool to swim in, and an inside spring to soak in during inclement weather. It also has a spa, though some facilities at the spa are failing due to age. There are also Karaoke lounges and pingpong tables, the latter of which is near the changing area of the hot spring.

I was cycling in the area and stopped here to use the hot spring pools. The spa is located across the street from the hotel and you can use the facilities for 300NT if you are not a guest, plus 50NT to purchase the necessary swim cap if you didn't bring your own. There are two uncovered hot pools connected to a very cold pool--the hottest of the two was just above 39 degrees Celsius--and then there's a larger covered area with more hot pools that I didn't use. Most people seemed to chill out in the covered area, so the rest of the pools were not very busy. Alternating between the hot and cold pools feels amazing if you have sore muscles, I would highly recommend it. They also have two or three small hot pools off to the side where you can sit and soak your feet. Lockers are available for 20NT, plus a 100NT deposit for the key, plus 20NT coin deposit to actually close the locker. There are baskets available in the changerooms for your stuff, and patio chairs and tables next to the pools, so I found the locker unnecessary in the end. Make a right when you enter the spa area and go down the stairs straight ahead, you'll see the changerooms to the left of the staircase. The showers are located at the back of the changerooms. You have to shower before entering the pools. Signage only in Chinese, although the counter staff knew a little bit of English. No bicycle parking anywhere that I could see, although you can lock your bike to the bus stop pole that is next to the spa. There are some snacks available at the spa, but bring your own if you want something healthier. I avoided the crowd of hotel guests by going around dinnertime, so between 5 and 7. Very clean facilities.

If you’re here to enjoy the hot springs and spa, it’s a decent place. But if you plan to stay here for a night, it’s just not ideal at all. First of all, the facilities are pretty old. The toilet in our room couldn’t even flush properly. The bathroom doesn’t have a curtain or a floor mat to separate the wet and the dry. And the hot water in the bathroom also has the sulfur smell, so they probably share the spring water to the shower. That doesn’t make any sense at all.

The public hot spring they have is pretty decent, but their rooms are old with a moldy smell. The showers only have hot spring water so you can’t escape the smell of sulfur. Cold water is your only option to wash off the sulfur. This also effects the cleanliness of the bathroom resulting in some disgusting looking grime. It would be better if they had a separate tap for the hot spring water so guests can choose to wash with clean hot water. The food is very standard so if you want something more exciting you’ll have to look elsewhere. The service is good, but the overall experience left much to be desired.

Terrible services! Wont give it second chance.
