A really beautiful and serene place. We were able to really take our time and enjoy the scenery and the peaceful environment. They also have a vegetarian restaurant nearby that is worth going to--it's such a unique culinary experience and a wonderful way to end a visit there.nnNote: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be different.

Luckily for us the place was virtually deserted due to the pandemic and our mid-week visit. We spent hours here, and you could easily spend an entire day. Be sure to check out the museum. There's a meditation session offered in the room with the Buddah tooth relic and a 3d movie for kids. There's a lot of use of technology here. The visitor center offers a surprisingly modern and abundant amount of shopping and food choices, even a Starbucks and a huge vegetarian sit down restaurant. We had delicious vegetarian soup dumplings at the little outside snack bar.

I recommend even if you’re not religious! The grounds are gorgeous, so peaceful, and well maintained. The place is sparking clean and quite globalised (there’s a Starbucks - nuff said) Plenty of vegetarian food options including well priced buffets. Bring a camera and prepare to take plenty of amazing photos. We didn’t have time to explore the whole museum but it’s very grand and interesting. It’s easy enough to get to by bus. You can easily spend half a day or a day here. Also, there are plenty of poke stops and gyms ;)

Typical Taiwanese! They didn't make this into some business model. This is a place where a story / religion is being told. Entry is free, staff comes to help and guide you for free and there are is a free audio tour(just bring your own ear plugs!). All by all, great place

This area is one of the famous place in Taiwan, center of Buddhism of Asia , space is too large and clean. You can see the beautiful architect of temple, towers, statues of Buddha. Inside including the buddhism museum. There are many culture events were organized as countdown on new year occasions.
