台澢號 Taitung Tea House (Dulan Fish & Chips)

I come here almost every time I visit Taitung. Their shaved ice has some interesting and unique flavors, but in a very good way. The shaved ice itself was fluffy and no random ice chunks. The combination of toppings compliment each other very well.

The wave shaved ice was sold out when we went there but the oolong tea shaved ice was really good. The mahi mahi fish and chips also were very good. The staff were friendly and nice but they're really understaffed. When we finally got a seat, they asked us to wait before we could order because they had to finish all the other orders first.

Nice place to grab lunch. The fish and chips was good, and the wave shaved ice was quite tasty. Friendly staff. Basic seating area (beach vibe).

Wonderful find in a little alley in Dulan. The fish was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The shaved ice was unique using local flavors and ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our early dinner here- it wasn’t too hot at 5:30 and there was no line.

Only place open in town during the dreaded time period of 14:00 to 17:30 in Taiwan where most places don't serve food. Fantastic family run hole in the wall fish and chips place. The staff is friendly and speak English. Generous portions and a staff willing to go the extra mile for their customers. You do have to wait about 15 minutes or so depending on how busy it is, but quality takes time. Highly recommend.
