this is a very good place for education. It is also a very good place to make friends if you dont have any. Bye bye

MAK a great school! It is small and discrete. Cost no problem. So much better than what we pay in Beijing. Our friends in Seoul and Hong Kong pay so much more too. So happy to have daughter go to MAK. She play volleyball on team and works with math club.

Morrison Academy Kaohsiung (or MAK as it is called by the staff) is a great school. It knows what it is - a small, faith-based school devoted to excellence. The staff are knowledgeable in their fields. The front office is quick to help. The parents are cheerfully supportive. Students learn about character development as well as academics.nnIt took a few years for us to get our kids into this school, but we are so glad they finally made the cut. It was hard to get them in. English standards are high. This is a school that prepares children for all levels of university, so they demand a high level of language competency. The older the student, the better their English must be.nnAt first, it was strange to see the negative reviews. Then I did some checking. I recognize two of these commenters. They are families who haven't yet been able to get their child (or children in one case) onto the enrollment. This is a problem with their child's English level. It's too bad that they are voicing their frustration in this way. I'll talk to them personally. They shouldn't give up! This is a school that is worth it.nnKeep up the good work, MAK!

i dont recommend this school, they have the highest yearly payment in kaohsiung yet the campus is still old and does not have a great education system, unlike kaohsiung american school. Because Kaohsiung American School has a better campus, morrison students dislike them and claim that they flex on their expensive items and are disrespectful but after making a few mak friends, they arent any better but even worse. i hanged out with mak students once and they each brought over 10k nt and flexing on their parents hermes and ferraris and i am more than sure that kas students arent any worse than that and are actually a lot better and respectful. They also laugh at KAS's education saying none of there students are good at english but if we're actually going to talk about it, KAS gives each student a chance because not every student started off as a fluent english speaker, so they have classes named ELL to help them out while you have to take a test and pass in order to join MAK and i have heard that many people didnt pass. And kas do have some unfluent english speakers and mak students use that to disrespect them but if kas actually pulls out their smartest students, mak students wont be any smarter. Lastly im pretty sure kas students are way more athletic than mak students, kas won way more medals because we focus on both athletics and school work yet mak mainly only focuses on school work. All in all, mak might seem like a good school but they're not any better than kas, probably even worse, yet kas is way too underrated because of the rumors mak students spread about it. If you're deciding a school for your child/children, kas will be the better choice.
