10 out of 5 fried vegetable!
The food is prepared in the style of the indigenous tribe Paiwan of Taiwan. The produce are local and the cuisine focuses on dishes based on millet known as “xiaomi”. Everything is delicious and the quality is excellent. Worth mentioning are the sticky millet dumpling (Chi Na Fu 祈納福) filled with pork, the deep fried sweet potato and the deep fried fireweed. You can also buy some millet products to cook at home or ready to eat snacks.
Authentic Taitung aboriginal food.
Nice and clean.
Must eat: Prayer for blessing, pound cake, crispy fried wild vegetables!nThis kind of flavor is unique and full of local food and agricultural characteristics. It is not the kind of cuisine that can be commonly found in aboriginal restaurants in scenic areas~nChinafu Millet Zong: There are moon peach leaves on the outer layer, and then the acetic acid grass is wrapped in millet and mixed with glutinous rice. The taste is very soft and sticky and will not be sticky. You can still feel the graininess of millet. With a layered fragrance of grass and leaves, even if the stuffing is only lean pork, it is quite enough.nnCrispy fried wild vegetables: The fried potatoes with skin are sweet enough and super fragrant. They are not of the same grade as the fried sweet potatoes at the salted chicken stall. I have tried this fried sweet potatoes and I never want to eat ordinary fried sweet potatoes. The other is fried Showa grass. The grass smell is very special. It doesn't have a grassy smell or is too pungent. This is the first time I have seen such a dish. The whole is not too oily or too old. It is worth a try.nnQuinoa Banana Pound Cake: The banana flavor is just right with the moist and creamy texture of the pound cake. It is really delicious, but only two slices and a small tuo of whipped cream sell for 80, which is a bit high-end.
