The Historical Grand Courtyard Taipei

It was renovated from former National Taiwan University's professor dormitory, especially for senior professors who fled from China to Taiwan when Chiang Kai-shek KMT government retreated to Taiwan.nnThe building was originally designed and built by Japanese for Imperial Taipei University faculty dormitory during Japanese occupation in Taiwan.nnThe courtyard and its building is roughly in H shape, and the building is a beautiful wood framed structure with metal steel bar frame for roof. Current court yard still preserves beautiful old trees.

The naval officer’s club was located in the Japanese colonial era. The mansion compound is stylish. Next to it is the former residence of Professor Yin Haiguang at the front desk. They are all designated historic sites in Taipei.

The coffee desserts are not bad and the environment is very good. But the management needs to be strengthened. I ordered the coffee three times and kept telling us that it was sold out and we would change it. After five minutes, it was also sold out, and the serving speed was very slow.

At night, the atmosphere is very good, the old house is very tasteful with lighting, and the coffee is very ordinary.
