Kindness Hotel

Stayed two nights here during a weekend trip to Kaohsiung. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice and they even serve food during the day, including tea, coffee, and ice cream! The rooms were pretty good. Size and facilities were fine. My only complaint would be that there was a slightly weird smell when we arrived (maybe because of the humidity). It wasn't a big deal once we ran the AC. We also noticed some mosquitos, but we asked the staff if they had a repellent device and they brought one to our room. No issues. Overall a great place to stay considering the price. Location is good as well!

My husband and I visited Kaohsiung for about 10 days and stayed here. I have to say it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in! The staff was kind and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing. They have so much food. The beds were comfortable for us (may be firm for some). The room was very quiet because there was a double door. I don’t know why more hotels don’t do this. I loved that we could open the window and get fresh air. A/C worked well. It was also very nice to have a free meal/snack buffet in the evening too! They have free ice cream, treats (cakes and jelly), and coffee/tea all day. There is also a kettle in the room if you want to boil some water for tea or ramen. Laundry is free to use (self serve) and even includes soap and fabric softener which does not smell too strong. They also recycle which is a plus for me. The bathroom has all kinds of soaps and shampoos. It is a little pricier than some other hotels, but with all that is included it’s well worth it.

Central location, amazing service from all staff, great room. Love the delicious complimentary dinner too! Just a little suggestion - maybe you can get the guests to return our own dishes during the afternoon tea?

When we first entered our room, which has two doors and a physical key, it did feel a bit small and inadequate. But over the three days we stayed here we realized that the room has everything you need! It’s clean, it’s quiet, the bath and toilet are clean and decently sized. The toilet has a bidet The location is great, it’s a very short walk from the night market, the hotel has free rental cycles for the pier2 and love river. The breakfast is decent, and they have food available round the clock (for free!!). Lastly the front desk staff is very nice and professional - the packed breakfast for our early morning flight was a very sweet gesture! Thank you!

Located at the best place. Surrounded by the markets. Many attractions are easily approachable. Very good service. Newt and clean rooms. Staff is warm and welcoming.
