This is one of the few parks in the North Pole with a history of more than one hundred years. There is no historical introduction sign in the park. It used to have a Beitou Shrine during the Japanese Occupation. Although it has been demolished, the shrine's dog is still at the gate of Yixian Country. Later, the National Government established it as a children's playground, and now it is Beitou No. 2 Park. There are pavilions, game facilities, fitness walkways, and maze gardens in the park. There is a public art work---Looking for the Rainbow Witch, in the maze garden.
