Tianliao Moon World Mud Rock Geology Tourist Center

Stop by before your 1.5-hour hike to grab an explanatory brochure (in English or Chinese). Fill up your bottle at the water fountain inside the center. Washrooms are just outside of it. You can also admire some photos of the badlands dating from several decades ago.

You need to go here first if you want to take an explanatory brochure and fill you bottle for free before begin your walk. If you come here by bus, you also can check the bus timetable here. The station personnel is really nice, they give me postcard and banana ice for free.

The tourist information wasn't very helpful and unfortunately the trails are still closed to go up to Scenic Areas, so you won't be able to see much of Moon World. Also, at the beginning, near the lake, there is still a lot of construction being done that will last until Feb '17, so if you can, try and hold out and go after Feb!
