Great place to learn some history about military village, but it’s a bit small and not lots too see

This small museum is well curated. It is about the history of the villages for military personnel. After KMT lost China to the CCP, there is an influx of soldiers in Taiwan. Kaohsiung is the main naval base so military families end up settle down in a large area.

The reason why I like this park isnThey classified the timeline of historical stories into three pavilionsnA pavilion is from the beginning of the warnOne is life in the military villagenAnother is the modern military villages facing the demolition and preservationnnThis classification can save the history in detailnIt’s also more organizednnThere is also a souvenir shop insidenA lot of things~ very good to buynI recommend postcards myselfnWhether it’s an old photo postcard from Kaohsiung on the wallnOr a postcard that can be cut and assembled into places of interestn(Personally recommend buying Chunqiu Pavilion, it looks small and exquisite in combination)nnThe park itself is very well managednThe historical information is quite detailednThe volunteers in the museum feel that they used to be residents of military villagesnVery helpful for people who want to learn more about the storynnI suggest you go and chat with the volunteersud83dude4fnAnd asked them about their favorite military village flavor restaurant (there are not only Liujia Pickled Cabbage Pot)nWill get a lot of gains ud83dudc4dnnIn addition, there are also the General’s House (suitable for taking pictures) and Corner 121 (crossing the sea cultural relics exhibition) nearbynAre free to visitnIt’s a pity that I didn’t stop by here!
