Beer Talk Cafe & Bar - 駁二店

I enjoyed the selection of beers they have. Weekdays you can order flights of beer, a nice six glass set to wet your whistle. If you order the big stein it’s European Big (reminding me of Oktoberfest Size) Been here three times the staff behind the bar was friendly and knowledgeable, with no problems with the beer. If you are uncertain about what beer you would like, they will offer you a small taster. Had food here twice first time so so, second time just order wings and they where spot on.

Drinks were nice but staffs were too busy to take orders and some of them even tried to avoid taking orders. Some of them even seemed clueless. The band they hired tonight sang terribly we thought it's karaoke night. When we went to pay we showed a card of our hotel that clearly showed that for each person you get buy one and get one for free beers in this bar but somehow the staff told us that we needed 2 cards for 2 people's buy one and get one for free drink. Not that I cared about paying extra but the staff made us feel like they're just trying to charge more. You'd think that for the price they charge you'd get better service and stuff. Overall very disappointed.

Food is good all around , but service needs work. Despite being only half full and fully staffed, could only get service by getting up to do it ourself. Staff not trained well--they focus only on one task at a time, and after food is delivered, they disappear. Easy enough to fix to make it a premiere spot in Kaohsiung.

Love the atmosphere here. With great live band shows. Came here twice during my business trip. Like all kinds of food we had, especially the pizza.
