BAR GAZ

Speakeasy bar. It is very hidden in the alley but easy to find very well located at it is very close to the Center of the city. You have to wait and find your way into the barn by dialing the number at the entrance. It’s kind of fun. Highly recommended that you call and make a reservation first. They do have a wide variety of cocktail selections. Bartenders are very professional and they make it exceptional drink. The consistency of every drink is very high and they taste very good. Price is not cheap but worth it.

Swung by Bar Gaz tonight. You'll have to use the telephone in order to gain access to the upstairs bar. I had two drinks, Soulful House (I think?) and Mishima's Last Words. The latter drink was absolutely amazing. The hojicha-infused gin was so aromatic. I've also ordered two food items, dumplings (boiled) and salted pork. They did take a while to make, but the results were delicious. The salted pork especially worked very well as a side dish accompanying the cocktails I had. 5/5, would definitely revisit again when I'm in Kaohsiung.

A perfect bar which just opened combines comfort and joys, youll have the most incredible cocktail and hardworking people that you fancy to meet. Don’t miss them when you’re in Kaohsiung.
