Mr. Cheng is serious about his craft. He communicates clearly (in Mandarin and Taiwanese) with customers what they want, and meticulously executes the plan. When customers rely on his experience and sense of aesthetics to come up with a plan, he offers his suggestion. If you're looking for a hair stylist who knows what s/he is doing, he is your man. If you'd like to get your hair cut in a modern looking barber/beauty shop, this one probably won't meet your minimum requirements. Given how little he charges, I think it's fair not to be critical about the interior design of this place.nnI have no idea if you can't speak Mandarin or Taiwanese how well you can communicate with him. He did say, though, he had had Western customers. Making an appointment is highly recommended lest a long wait.
