Harbor Elite Hotel

The cafe/restaurant in this hotel is clean and the ambience is good. Taste wise the good was okay.

The staff were wonderful and helpful with our check-in. The location was great and very close to the lake and the ferries. Although there was no breakfast provided at the hotel, we did received free breakfast coupons for a hotel very nearby, and we found the food to be nice. The biggest problems with this hotel were the bed and the water pressure. The mattress was extremely firm - so much so that it felt like sleeping on the ground. We were not able to have a restful sleep due to the mattress. The room itself was spacious and nice, but the mattress made it impossible to sleep well. The second problem was with the water pressure and temperature. We turned the shower on and it took very long for the hot water to come. We decided to time it after the hot water still didn't come and it took over 8 minutes for the water to become hot. The water pressure was also terrible. The pressure of the water was no bigger than a trickle. It seemed to be functioning at only 1/4 normal pressure.

We had a basement room so although there was a window there was no daylight. But good size room n bathroom. Clean and tidy. The breakfast they offered was at the nearby Harbour Resort Hotel. Very good options and service. We were catching a really early bus out of town so although the breakfast hadn't started they allowed us to have tea/coffee n toast with cheese etc. Really appreciated. The American coffee was smooth and strong.

The room was so big, a lot of space to put the luggage and things. The room and furnitures was little old and dirty (found some dirty spot on my towel). All facilities and breakfast were provided. It is near the pier, the restaurant, the mart and bus stop. No lake view. The price was fine. The staff was nice and polite.

A lot small cockroaches in room… strongly not recommended in this hotel
